↟ Tucked into the trees on a peaceful wooded lot, the cabin feels private, quiet, and secluded, while still being just minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, hiking trails, restaurants, and the National Park. It's the kind of location that lets you do as much or as little as you want: a full day exploring, or absolutely nothing at all. Guests tell us that balance is exactly what they came for.

Some of your best memories here might be the ones you didn't plan: curling up together under a blanket with a movie on the 65" 4K Smart TV and Sonos soundbar, pulling out a game on a rainy afternoon, or sinking into the couch with nowhere to be after a long day on the trails. The fireplace (converted to safe, beautiful electric) flickers in the background, and the treehouse-like views make it easy to forget the outside world exists. Guests call this space "peaceful," "welcoming," and (probably the highest compliment) "hard to leave."

Mornings here have a different pace. The eat-in kitchen seats four and blends retro charm with everything you actually need: full appliances, an air fryer, all the coffee and cooking gear to make breakfast unhurried and dinner-at-home feel like a treat rather than a compromise.

The loft: where you'll sleep like you mean it<<<

Upstairs, the open loft overlooks the trees and delivers that classic cabin in the mountains feeling guests come back for. The queen gel-foam bed is dressed in luxury bamboo-blend linens (soft enough that more than a few guests have mentioned the sheets specifically) and thoughtful touches like bedside reading lamps and USB charging stations make it easy to stay up a little late and sleep in a little late. Longer, slower mornings are kind of the point.

The cabin has full central HVAC with forced air heat and A/C, so you're comfortable in any season. An oversized ceiling fan keeps the great room breezy on warmer nights. Tucked downstairs off the kitchen is a full-size bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and a large pantry that houses a full-size washer and dryer (complete with eco-friendly detergent sheets) for guests who like to pack light or stay a little longer.

Guests often tell us Fox feels like someone actually thought of everything, and the little extras are a big part of that: exercise bands for a morning stretch, mosquito netting for anyone sensitive to bugs when relaxing outside by the creek (the mountains are pretty peaceful on that front, but it's there just in case).

The custom deep green sofa downstairs pulls out into a full bed, cozy and low enough that littles feel right at home in it. Add in the Pack n Play (sheets included), high chair, and children's dinnerware already on hand, and most of the packing is already done for you.

Fair warning: the peaceful surroundings make productivity genuinely difficult. But if you need it, the cabin has fast, reliable WiFi throughout the property inside and out along with a comfortable dedicated workspace ready for you.

OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR
The outdoor spaces at Fox are where a lot of the magic happens, and guests tend to be surprised by how much time they spend out here.

The covered deck is where you’ll find the private hot tub (perfect for a soak after an adventurous day exploring the Smokies) as well as the comfortable Serena & Lily hanging swing chair (room for two!). Guests tell us it has a way of turning a "just a few minutes" moment into an entire morning.

The creekside fire pit with Adirondack seating tends to have the same effect: more than a few couples have told us that sitting by the fire, listening to the creek in the background, felt like being inside a sound machine. The charcoal grill is nearby, so an easy dinner outside while the fire gets going is a natural move.

Our sister cabin, Hen at Bluff Creek, is right next door on our private paved road. You get your own space and privacy, with just a few steps between you. It's a setup guests love for anniversaries, double-date weekends, and friend trips where everyone wants their own retreat.

Fox is owner-managed by our family, not a large management company. We know every inch of this cabin and genuinely care that your stay feels effortless from the moment you book to the moment you reluctantly head home.

We do require a signed rental agreement to fully confirm your booking, which includes a quick identity verification. Exterior security cameras are in place for guest and property safety. There are no cameras inside the property, full stop. We welcome guests 21 and older, or those traveling with family. Noise monitoring may also be present to help keep things neighborly.

The only inaccessible area is the crawlspace underneath the cabin… which, honestly, is much less cozy than the rest of the property anyway.

We're in the Bluff Mountain Acres area of Pigeon Forge (part of Sevier County). Pigeon Forge, Tennessee was founded in the late 1700s and officially settled in 1830 when Isaac Love established an iron forge here. That iron forge helped to establish the name for the town now known as Pigeon Forge.

Love’s son, William, also built a tub mill ten years later. That mill is now a National Historic Site called the Old Mill.

Pigeon Forge, TN remained a small community until the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was established on September 2, 1940 by Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The largest growth of the area came in 1982 when tourism began to really take hold and continued to make Pigeon Forge Tennessee the popular destination it is now.

The scenic Great Smoky Mountains, friendly people, down home hospitality and dining, patriotism, and a nostalgic air of yesteryear’s simpler times and family values truly make Pigeon Forge, TN the “All American Get-Away” for over 60 percent of the U.S. population within a day’s drive.

At Fox and Hen Bluff Creek you’re only minutes away from all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer. You'll want a car to explore and typically won't need any special vehicles as our winters are often moderate.

Fox at Bluff Creek is located on our private paved mountain road surrounded by peaceful wooded surroundings. The entry is slightly steep (very common in the Smokies), but easily accessible for most standard vehicles and marked with reflective poles to make arrival simple, even after dark.

One of the things guests love most about staying here is the feeling of being secluded and surrounded by nature while still only being a short drive from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, hiking, restaurants, and the National Park.

Because you’re in the Smoky Mountains, you may spot local wildlife during your stay including black bears, raccoons, wild turkeys, and other mountain critters. Seeing wildlife is part of the magic of the mountains, but for everyone’s safety, please do not feed or approach them.
